Designed for Stimulite® Honeycomb Cushions, Supracor’s breathable Sheepskin Cover is “supra” comfortable
SAN JOSE, CA, September 14, 2004—Supracor introduces a luxuriously soft, breathable cushion cover, featuring 100 percent natural, New Zealand Sheepskin, for all of its Stimulite® Honeycomb pressure-relief and positioning cushions.
“Since sheepskin is naturally breathable and odor resistant, it’s an ideal cover for our Stimulite Cushions which have been proven to be highly effective in preventing pressure sores among wheelchair users, and cancer and burn patients,” said Susan Wilson, director of Research, Design and Development.
The sheepskin has a unique, flexible backing that works with the ventilated Stimulite Honeycomb Cushions, allowing the cells to flex and breathe while keeping people cool and dry. Able to stretch in four directions, Supracor’s sheepskin cover prevents hammocking. Machine washable, Supracor’s optional sheepskin cover is available in black or natural.
Derived from the aerospace program, Supracor’s sophisticated flexible, fusion-bonded honeycomb technology has been applied to products that ensure the health and safety of people and animals.
Supracor’s shock-absorbing honeycomb can be found in high-performance footwear, bumpers for amusement park rides, bullet-proof vests, award-winning saddle pads, health and fitness products, and state-of-the-art cushions and support surfaces that have set the standard for pressure-sore prevention by providing Total Pressure Management®: pressure relief, reduced shearing and ventilation to control heat and moisture.
Supracor’s products are made in California’s Silicon Valley from American-made, recyclable materials. For more information call 1.800.787.7226. A photo is available upon request.
