Supracor’s application in footwear is not new. A supplier to Reebok® International for more than 10 years, Supracor honeycomb was featured as a shock-absorbing component (Hexalite®) in the midsole of Reebok’s high-end athletic shoes. Noted for its resilience and durability, the honeycomb components typically outlasted the shoes.

A flexible form of aerospace honeycomb, Supracor is an optimum strength-to-weight material, insuring uniform weight distribution and exceptional stability in an ultra-lightweight matrix. In addition, honeycomb’s anisotropic characteristic—differing degrees of resistance from the sides—allows footwear designers to incorporate the material in the shoe for greater comfort.
