After riding in the western divisions for a  few years, Candice switched to hunters and jumpers with much success. In 1989 she made her debut on the AGA circuit with one 2nd place and two third place finishes aboard 'Trademark.'

In 1990 she became partnered with the mare 'Wula' and earned a second place finish in the $25,000 Cadillac Grandprix of Seattle. Later that year she was named to the USET Young Riders Show Jumping Squad.

In 1998 with 'Mister Spoon,' Candice placed 3rd in the $50,000 Coca-Cola Inaugural Cup during the Cosequin Winter Equestrian Festival. Candice picked up the ride on Lynne Little's 'Mangrove Mattie' and placed 3rd in the $30,000 Grand Prix of Kentucky and 3rd in the Royal Bank Open in Calgary, Canada. With a new horse 'Catch the Wind,' she placed 3rd in the $30,000 Culpeper Grand Prix and in the same class placed 4th with 'Mister Spoon.'

Candice earned her 2nd AGA win in 2000 by capturing the $50,000 Budweiser Grand Prix of Indianapolis with John E.M..

Candice is married and enjoys water skiing, tennis and reading when not in the saddle.
